Comfort Tips
portaMEeā„¢ can be worn on either the left or right hip. Simply slide the carrier seat across the center buckle.
It is important that the waist belt be snug and secure. This will relieve pressure on your neck and shoulders.
There are two shoulder adjusters: front and back. Use both to find your comfort zone.
Make sure the gel shoulder pad is centered on your shoulder before you adjust the front or back adjustment, this will help keep the baby centered and you more comfortable.
Lift your baby from its bottom to create slack in the webbing. This will enable you to pull the nylon web strapping tighter, thus bringing your child closer to you. (See figure E and F).
Make sure the child’s bottom is higher than your hip. This will reduce pressure and strain on your shoulder
Work with the adjusters on the shoulder strap. We find we most often need to loosen the front adjuster and tighten the back.
